Over the past 35 years, she has been a driving force behind the incredible growth of Buzzworks, helping to shape it into one of the UK’s leading hospitality companies, now proudly operating 22 venues across Scotland.
But her impact reaches far beyond numbers. She has played a vital and visible role in preserving Buzzworks’ values-led culture, ensuring that people, appreciation, and community remain at the heart of everything they do.
Under her leadership, Buzzworks has achieved milestone after milestone, from being named a Sunday Times Top 100 Company to Work For, to making history this year as the first ever Scottish company to win Best Managed Pub Company at the Publican Awards.
But ask anyone who has worked with Alison, and they’ll tell you it’s her integrity, warmth, and commitment to her team that truly sets her apart. And, she has a another talent at matchmaking because she has set up so many couples around the business!
