The team behind high street Prezzo Italian has launched a new parent company – Brava Hospitality Group – marking the next step in its strategy to become a multi-brand operator.

Previously operating under the single Prezzo name, the business has now rebranded as Brava Hospitality Group to reflect its wider ambitions and future direction. The new company will act as a platform to manage and grow a number of distinct hospitality brands across the UK.

Described as “the home of great restaurant brands,” Brava Hospitality Group has been built around three central principles: great food, great environments and excellent service.

James Brown, CEO of Brava Hospitality Group, said, “As we look to the future, we knew it was time for a new group identity – one that reflects our ambition and gives us the foundation to grow. Brava is about ‘hospitality with heart’ and building a portfolio of distinctive brands that people love. That started with Prezzo Italian.”

Prezzo Italian, which remains the group’s flagship brand, relaunched in April this year as part of a major repositioning exercise. The new brand direction focuses on offering Italian classics at accessible price points, backed by improvements across food, service, marketing, restaurant design and overall customer experience.

The initiative has already delivered strong results. Since the refresh, like-for-like sales are up 11% in Q3, while six refurbished sites have seen an average uplift of 50% compared to the previous year.

The repositioning has been led by James Brown, who joined the business in November 2024. Previously Global Hospitality CEO at BrewDog, Brown was brought in to strengthen the brand and secure long-term success.

James added, “Now we have announced this new step, we are looking forward to being able to share further details in the coming months and announce other restaurant brands joining the Brava Hospitality Group portfolio alongside Prezzo Italian. With every brand that joins us, two things remain the same – our commitment to sustainable high-quality growth, and to preserving the heart of hospitality across every concept we bring to life.”

As the business evolves, the group says that it will grow its portfolio through a mix of new concepts and established brands, with further announcements expected before the end of the year.
