Glasgow late-night venue Berlinkys is celebrating its first anniversary with a weekend of live shows, performances and guest appearances.
The Sauchiehall Street venue has announced a three-day programme including circus acts, aerial performers, live music and a talent competition starting this Friday (3 October). The weekend will close on Sunday with a guest performance by Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer winner Vinnie McKee.
Berlinkys has received several industry awards since opening, including New Bar of the Year at The Scottish Bar & Pub Awards.
Gavin Clark, General Manager at Berlinkys, said, “From our very first night, Berlinkys has been about creating energy, spectacle, and memories people talk about for weeks. To reach our first birthday is an incredible milestone, and we want to celebrate it the only way we know how: bigger, louder, and wilder than ever before.”
The weekend line-up includes Friday Frolicks, a circus-themed club night, and The Birthday Spectacular on Saturday, with aerial acts and live bands. On Sunday, the venue will host Berlinkys Got Talent, where guests can audition to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Prague, sponsored by Staropramen.
