The Royal Bank of Scotland has sold the Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor Hotel to a private investor in a deal worth around £10m. It marks the tenth Hilton sold by RBS in recent years. RBS bought 11 Hiltons in 2001, but after the financial crisis it announced plans to sell the hotels. It has only one Glasgow Hilton-branded hotel still to sell.
