Helen Gallagher has been appointed as the General Manager of Apex Hotel’s new 104 bedroom City of Glasgow hotel – its first venture in the city.
Helen has 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry latterly as GM of The Scotsman in Edinburgh. She will lead the opening of the new four star premises on Bath Street this autumn following an extensive £10.5m refurbishment.
Angela Vickers, CEO of Apex Hotels, commented, “Helen has an excellent reputation in the industry and her experience speaks for itself. We see a significant opportunity in the Glasgow market – the hotel is well-located and we have invested substantially in refurbishing the property to the Apex standard. With 60 new jobs being created, we are building a strong team ahead of our autumn opening.”
