Scottish craft distiller, Eden Mill, has launched 12 distinctive gins to celebrate each day of Christmas. Some of the new, unique recipes from the St Andrews distillery include Full Proof Navy Strength, Chilli and Ginger and Blueberry and Vanilla. Explaining the exotic choice of flavouring, Eden Mill co-founder Paul Miller said, “Our distilling team asked gin lovers around the world via Twitter and Facebook and those who visited the distillery for recipe ideas for a Christmas seasonal gin.
“The response was incredible, with a wide array of suggestions, so we thought of offering a different gin experience for each day of the Festive Season.
“Our production team are passionate about crafting great spirits and because we make all of our gins by hand on our own site, using as many local botanicals as we can, they were really up for the challenge.
In Scotland, leading mixologist Scott Gemmell, of the Glasgow-based LA Group, is producing a range of serve suggestions and cocktails for customers. This will lead to a unique sensory experience with each gin, each day of the holiday.
The twelve gins are available in 5cl and 10cl packs and were showcased at the prestigious Visit Scotland Thistle awards at Prestonfield House in Edinburgh recently.
They are now available online and will form a key part of Eden Mill’s offering at their pop-up shop in St Andrews Square as part of Edinburgh’s Christmas.
