Caledonian Brewery has unveiled First Dawn, its latest addition to its seasonal guest ale range. The new golden pale ale, which is available to order throughout Spring from March to May, has an ABV of 3.7% and has, says the company, “a delicate, fresh and zesty finish.” Craig Steven, Caledonian’s Beers Manager and Scotland’s first beer sommelier says, “A new season calls for a new beer! The days are getting longer and brighter, and this wonderfully bright golden ale reflects the season. It’s a beautifully light and zesty Spring Ale. Its spicy aroma and notes of dark soft fruit make this ale an ideal match with seasonal foods such as roast lamb and pork, and a great accompaniment to Sunday roasts over the Easter period and beyond.
“Outlets should consider outlining suggested beer and food pairings on the menu to maximise interest in crafted and carefully selected beers. With Spring in the air after a long Winter – First Dawn is just what your drinkers will be looking for!”
