The 42nd annual BEN Dinner took place at the beginning of last month and it was a very well attended event.
More than 1,000 guests and members of the trade attended the event at Glasgow’s DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and raised a massive £100k for the Benevolent Society (BEN).
The funds will go towards supporting the charity’s work providing social, financial or emotional support to former and current licensed trade employees.
It is always a good catch up event, and it was great to see many of the past-presidents there too!
Chris Gardner, The BEN’s chief executive, said, “The money raised will be vital in allowing us to continue to provide the support to Scotland’s trade workers and for that we are extremely grateful.
“It’s always great to see so many of Scotland’s industry come together and we’re already looking forward to next year – here’s to making it an even bigger success.”
