Premier Sports kicked off Celtic’s pre-season friendlies yesterday (16th July) when it broadcast the teams first match with Nice and it also showed Rangers match with Lyon.
Celtic’s next match is against Lyon is on July 18th at 7.45pm. Then they will play current French league champions PSG at the Parc des Princes at 6pm on Tuesday July 21st all of which are being screened exclusively by Premier Sports. They also have a deal in place to screen Celtic’s first three qualifiers in Europe.
Reigning Scottish Premiership Champions Celtic will start their pre-season in France challenging a selection of French clubs. Beginning on July 16th. Celtic will first face Nice at 5.30pm, Lyon on July 18th at 7.45pm before playing current French league champions PSG at the Parc des Princes at 6pm on Tuesday July 21st all of which are being screened exclusively by Premier Sports. They also have a deal in place to screen Celtic’s first three qualifiers in Europe
Premier Sports is the home for Scottish Knockout Football and will broadcast the Scottish Cup and Betfred Cup in the 2020/21 season. Premier Sports customers will also be able to watch Celtic start their European campaign next month with coverage confirmed for Celtic’s first three qualifiers. In addition, subscribers will see the remainder of the Serie A and LaLiga seasons as part of the Premier Sports Pack.

Premier Sports to screen Rangers’ preseason matches this July
- Rangers will face Lyon and Nice in France and welcome Motherwell and Coventry City to Ibrox
- Each game will be broadcast live on Premier Sports
- Premier Sports also has a deal in place to screen the Ranger’s first European away game of 20/21 season
Premier Sports has also announced it will broadcast each of Rangers’ preseason friendlies this July as Steven Gerrard’s team prepare for their 2020/21 Scottish Premiership campaign. These matches will be the first opportunity for Rangers fans to witness their side in action since coronavirus forced an end to the 19/20 season in March.
Rangers also began their begin their preseason matches on 16th July with a match against Lyon before travelling south to the Côte d’Azur to play Nice on 18th July at 5.00pm. Both matches from France are exclusively live on Premier Sports. Rangers will then welcome fellow Scottish Premiership side Motherwell to Ibrox on 22nd July (6pm) before English League One Champions Coventry City visit as they prepare for the season ahead in the English Championship.
