After twenty years in the Scotch whisky trade, Aceo have announced that they have a new headquarters and distribution centre at Deans near Edinburgh after relocating from Gloucestershire.  The move to the new site was required to meet the company’s rapid growth and provide a base closer to spirit operations, large whisky warehouses, and brand homes in Speyside in the Highlands.

Custodians of brands, including Scotch whisky Murray McDavid, Smoky Scot, Iguana Rum, Metropolitan Gin, Parkmore and other spirits, Aceo’s new site is over 122,000 sq.ft. and, as well as providing extensive office space, it has a high-bay storage warehouse and loading bays that can accommodate transport vehicles of all sizes. In addition, there are 3.4 acres of land which offers potential for further expansion. The warehouse is HMRC bonded and registered to distribute alcohol.

Plans are also afoot to create a whisky and spirit retail centre, tasting rooms and restaurant for visitors as well as a fully equipped gym for staff. The plans will support and expand their range of services to customers which includes bottling, label and packaging design, the supply of cask whisky and bottled spirits, sampling, logistics, shipping, tax/duty processing and exports.

Edward Odim, Aceo’s owner, commented, “We are delighted with our new premises, which mark the start of a new and exciting era for the company. It’s been a real pleasure taking on a lot of new staff to help us continue and sustain our journey of growth – it’s an exciting time!”
