New openings for Edinburgh and Aberdeen

A new late night bar, Freddy’s, will open in Edinburgh next week (20 October), in Frederick Street. The seven day a week venue will be open from 7pm until 3am and promises live music from local artists including DJ’s and performers, as well an extensive cocktail selection.

FA6892BF-A064-4F16-A8E0-29215BA1A509General Manager Gavin Currie says that they wanted to address the changing market of those who now want an more experience-based offering, so they took “the best elements of a Live Music Venue, Late Night Bar, Cocktail Bar and Bier Halle and combined them together to create our All Out Live Music Party Parlour.”

Meanwhile Aberdeen’s SugarBird Wines gets set open their new venue at The Burns Pavilion in Union Terrace Gardens called SugarBird in the Gardens (main picture). As well as two story wine bar and outdoor terrace, it is offering two dedicated event spaces, SugarBird with a View and SugarBird on the Terrace, both of which opened this week.
