Berlinkys to launch in Glasgow promising to ‘bring back the good times’

A new bar and live entertainment venue is set to open its doors in Glasgow next weekend, offering a fresh and unique experience to the city’s nightlife.

Berlinkys, located at 396 Sauchiehall Street, will officially welcome the public from Friday, 4 October 2024 and aims to deliver a packed programme of entertainment.

With a £2.3 million investment, the venue has undergone a major transformation into a one-of-a-kind party destination. Highlights include two stages, multiple bars, dancing booths, and a cutting-edge sound system costing £250,000.

Guests can look forward to an full schedule of live acts, including bands, musicians, dancers, and aerial artists. Adding to the lineup, Berlinkys will host six weeks of stand-up comedy, headlined by comedian Susie McCabe and hosted by Viv Gee.

Berlinkys has also invested £80,000 in a new kitchen, offering a menu filled with home-cooked favourites, including steak frites and playful options like cinnamon donut rolls.

Brendan Curran, Operations Manager at Berlinkys, said, “We’ve kept this under wraps for months, and now we’re thrilled to finally reveal what we’ve been working on.

“There’s truly nothing like Berlinkys in Glasgow. It’s all about bringing the good times back – whether you’re here for a gig, comedy, or dancing on tables with your friends until the early hours, we’ve got it all.

“We believe we’re offering something totally unique, and we can’t wait for people to experience it for themselves.”

The two-storey venue offers a range of special features, including comfortable seating areas, a fireplace, and plenty of space for dancing. Guests looking for a more exclusive experience can book ‘The Gallery’, a private bar and dining area, for corporate events or smaller gatherings.

Brendan added, “We’ve got big plans for Berlinkys, with lots of exciting events coming up between now and Christmas.

“We believe this venue is going to be something truly special for Glasgow, and we’re confident it will be a top destination for years to come.”

Berlinkys is currently hiring for a variety of positions, including chefs, front-of-house staff, and “cocktail ambassadors” who can bring their own creative flair to the drinks menu.
