A whisky tasting at the prestigous Vintner’s Rooms in Leith aims to raise funds to aid the recovery effort in Japan after the recent earthquake. Four Japanese whiskies will be tasted alongside the now sold out unique ‘Spirit of Unity’ bottling created when casks donated by several Scottish distillers were vatted together.
* There will be an auction on the night to raise further funds, included will be a bottle of Spirit of Unity and other items. For tickets or to donate further lots please contact Mark Davidson on 0131 556 5864. In the event of demand a second tasting, with different whiskies, can be arranged.
