Vodka Wodka and Ramen Dayo to open in new Ashton Lane home

Vodka Wodka

Vodka Wodka and Ramen Dayo are opening their new three-floor venue this weekend, taking over the Innis & Gunn premises on Ashton Lane, just across from their current West End home.

Vodka Wodka, which has been on Ashton Lane for more than two decades, will occupy the ground floor, while Japanese restaurant Ramen Dayo will take the second floor. Fraser McIlwraith said, “We are moving from No 31 to No 44–46 Ashton Lane. The premises are bigger and the move means we will be able to serve food in Vodka Wodka because we now have a kitchen.”

Ramen Dayo first launched from a hand-built yatai ramen cart in Gordon Street Lane in 2016, before opening its first restaurant in 2017 and expanding to Ashton Lane in 2018. The new venue means that capacity will grow from 25 to 60 covers.

The top floor will be used as a function space with DJs at the weekends.

Vodka Wodka and Ramen Dayo open their new premises on 1 May.
