Indie Brands launches

Chris Bowen and Douglas Cunningham have just launched Indie Brands, a new spirits distribution company, which aims to fill a gap in the luxury brands arena. Chris Bowen, former MD of drinks distributor Babco, and the man credited with the successful marketing of Savanna Cider, is Chairman of the new company while Scot Douglas Cunningham who is well known in the on-trade, having launched brands such as Seriously Vodka, Cariel and Aivy into the Scottish market is Managing Director.
Indie Brands portfolio includes Matusalem Rum, Lejay-Lagout crèmes and liqueurs, Arette Tequila, Cariel Vanilla, Batch Blended and AIVY vodkas, XANTE pear liqueur, STROH rum and Jones Concentrado de Agave. A number of new brands set to join the portfolio in the coming months.
