WINNER:
Trades House Bar
Dundee
The judges said of the winner, “What an array of beers that greet you as you walk into this traditional but elegant pub. It’s not just the variety, but the quality of the beer on offer. No doubt helped by good cellar management. But what was the winning factor was the passion for beer that the manager had. He doesn’t just sell it, he lives it, and with somewhere in the region of 5,000 pints a week being sold the pub is a star performer in the company’s portfolio.
Finalists:
Morrisons Beer Co., Stirling
