New Operator for Glasgow west end pub

A BUSY month for Michele Pagliocca has been rounded off with the announcement he is to take over the lease of the former Inn at the Cross in Partick.

Alongside helping his son Gianni open the Single-end at Garnet Hill, (as reported in October DRAM)  Michele has now taken over the Inn at the Cross at the bottom of Byres Road and will rename it the Butterfly and Pig West End.

The bar has had several guises – including The Byre, The Millhouse,  Bruadar and latterly The Inn at the Cross.

But Michele is  confident he can turn it round, by bringing his famed Bath Street premises to the West End.

A makeover is on the cards for the venue, which is expected to be given the same ‘shabby-chic’ treatment as its Bath Street sister venue.
