FOR the second year running, Belhaven has been named as the ‘official beer’ of the New York Tartan Day parade, and it’s related events from the 2nd to the 10th of April.
In its 18th year, the NYC Tartan week will once again be celebrating Scottish heritage and pride; with the annual ‘Tartan Day’ parade taking place on Saturday 9th April, included in the parade will be representatives of Scotland’s oldest brewery.
Gordon Muir, brand manager for Belhaven said: “As the home of Scottish brewing, we are proud to be sponsoring the Tartan Day Parade for the second year running. We had a fantastic response last year and we are planning even bigger and better things for 2016.
“We have a large following of loyal Belhaven fans in America and it means a lot to us to be playing a part in such a renowned event that celebrates our shared culture. We are huge supporters of the parade and its organisers, who work tirelessly to promote our country’s wonderful heritage on the American side of the pond.
