The new outlet from Revolution Bars will be situated at 11-19 Church Street in the centre of the Highland Capital, in premises that were formerly home to McEwans of Perth, the chain of department stores which went into administration in March. The Inverness branch closed back in 2013.
Shepherd Chartered Surveyors sold the property to a private investor for £490,000, who in turn have leased it out to Revolution Bars. Based in Ashton-under-Lyne in Greater Manchester, Revolution have over 60 locations across the UK, including venues in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
