Donate to the Inverarity Morton Big Wine Walk in aid of the BEN

Well done to the team at Inverarity Morton who have come up with a novel idea to raise £5,000 for the Ben.
Steve Annand, Sales Director for the company, and a Director of the Ben,  explains, “As Scotland’s hospitality and licensed trade charity, The Ben is increasingly concerned about the impact of Coronavirus on the people of our industry both in terms of health but also potential financial hardship.
“Inverarity Morton is Scotland’s leading independent wine and spirits supplier and during these challenging times, when so much of our industry is closed, we plan to clock up some miles for this worthy cause.
“Most of our team are on furlough and to give a positive focus as well as assist with health and wellbeing we came up with the idea of the Big wine walk. Across the team we will walk, jog, cycle and run the equivalent distance it would take us to visit some of the vineyards of our many partner suppliers from around Europe.
“We aim to cover +5000Km and raise over £5000 to assist the Ben as the charity attempts to close the funding gap caused by an inability to host events this year. You might not be able to enjoy a glass of our wine in your favourite bar or restaurant at the moment but by donating to our challenge we can ensure those individuals in our trade, who are most in need, get the support they require.”
The Ben is as a safety net for anyone who works in our trade and is facing extreme financial hardship as a result of the virus, and the Ben is in a position to offer one-off financial assistance on a case by case basis.
