Shepherd Neame get set for 150th Open at St Andrews as official beer supplier


Shepherd Neame, the oldest brewer in the UK, has been named as the official beer supplier of The 150th Open taking place at St Andrews in Scotland this summer.

The global sporting event, running from July 10 to 17, will be attended by a record 290,000 fans and they will be able to enjoy beers Whitstable Bay Black Stout, Whitstable Bay Pale Ale and Orchard View cider on draught.

As the official supplier of The 150th Open, Shepherd Neame’s award-winning beer and cider will be on sale in the bars at the Old Course, St Andrews, and at bespoke outside bars erected around the course. It is the second year that Shepherd Neame has been chosen as the official beer supplier for The Open, following the success of last year’s partnership when the Championship took place at Royal St George’s in Sandwich.
