The award-winning Kingsbarns Distillery has introduced its new flagship whisky, Doocot, marking the Fife whisky brand’s first global launch. Doocot was simultaneously unveiled in 34 markets across the UK, Europe, and the United States.

Doocot is matured using a combination of ex-Bourbon and shaved, toasted, and re-charred ex-Portuguese red wine casks. The whisky is characterised as possessing “a beautiful combination of pineapple syrup, and summer berries with a hint of rhubarb” in its flavour profile.

Distillery founder William Wemyss commented, “Doocot has been years in the making. We’ve devoted considerable time to perfecting the distilling process, ensuring we’ve crafted the ideal finish.”

Wemyss added, “As we transition into the warmer months, Doocot serves as the perfect, refreshing, fruity dram that is guaranteed to take whisky enthusiasts on an exceptional flavor journey. We hope customers love it as much as we do.”

This lowland single malt has a 46% ABV with an RRP of £45.
