The Glasgow Licensing Board has given the go-ahead for an occasional license for a pilot fan zone bar at Hampden for the Euro Qualifier on Tuesday.
An agent said it will be open to Scotland fans with match tickets with a capacity of just under 500 people and that the fenced off area will feature a bar and four street food caterers as well as a stage with entertainment and picnic style benches.
The fenced off area is expected to open at 5pm with last orders at 7pm. The home team are set to kick-off against Georgia 45 minutes later, at 7.45pm. The game follows a successful trip to Norway at the weekend, a win that sees Scotland sit top of the table in their UEFA Euro Qualifier group.
The premises were listed as Hampden Park & Ride area at Aikenhead Road with Barbara Jane Steele as the applicant.
