Mikaku on Glasgow’s Queen Street has launched a new kids menu in time for the school summer holidays, paired with their complimentary soft play area and extensive food and drink menu for parents.
The menu of healthy Japanese street food is served in a bento box and launches with a ‘Kids Eat Free’ offer form 26 June, where one child aged up to 10 years old eating free for every paying adult.
The menu was developed by Michelin-starred chef Stephen Donnelly, who retained two Michelin Stars during his tenure at Le Saint-James, Bouliac, France. It features mix-and-match popular Japanese street food including gyozas, chicken teriyaki skewers, katsu curry or ramen options, alongside healthy fruit and vegetables.
Commenting, Executive Chef Stephen Donnelly said, “Our most popular request has been a healthy kids menu that young ones will love coming back for, so that their parents can enjoy a great meal in wonderful surroundings – we hope we’ve been able to provide just that. We can’t wait to welcome families to Mikaku, whether returning or for the first time, to experience our truly unique restaurant.”
