The Scottish drinks and hospitality industry charity, The BEN, has launched its new winter £250 payment which opens for applications on January 3, 2024.
Designed to help with living costs, the Ben will be distributing 200 grants of £250 to provide financial assistance to individuals working in the industry during the month of January when many can face reduced hours, job loss, or sickness absence.
Chris Gardner, CEO The Ben said, “We understand the challenges that individuals in the drinks and hospitality industry may face during the winter months, and we want to offer our support during this time. The new winter £250 payment is designed to provide some relief to those in need and we hope it will make a positive difference in their lives.”
The BEN is encouraging eligible individuals to apply for the grant and take advantage of this opportunity for financial support. The application process will be open to all individuals working in the Scottish drinks and hospitality industry who meet the specified criteria on The Ben website on the 3rd of January 2024.
