Inverness will see the re-opening of The Rose Street Foundry at the end of the month with a grand opening planned for the beginning of February.

The original restaurant and bar closed in October 2022, after a £2.2m refurbishment by The Cairngorm Brewer, as the energy and cost of living crises took hold.

The well-known venue has now been taken over by new tenant Rio Sol, a company set up by partners Stuart Forrester and Donald Mackay, who announced their plans in December for a new bar, restaurant and live music venue.

Along with new General Manager, and a Fame Academy finalist, Chris Manning the venue say that they “will be offering award winning ales, a wide selection of excellent wines, spirits and whiskies, fantastic gastronomic food and a superb program of live music covering all the genres!”
