La Vista, a new Italian restaurant, is set to open at Cameron House on Loch Lomond this Monday, March 18th. Promising a luxury dining experience, the restaurant will showcase flavours from Italy’s lakes and coastal regions. For guests interested in Italian groceries, their new deli will also sell a range of artisanal products, including essential oils, cheeses, and cured meats.
Named ‘the view’, the restaurant capitalises on its surroundings with extensive windows offering panoramic views of the Loch. The interior combines modern styling with comfort, including space for both diners and evening entertainment as well as offering a private dining area.
La Vista will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist courtesy of Italian chef Pasquale Calvanese and Pizzaiolo Ivano Erme. Menu items include Nduja Steamed Mussels with homemade Focaccia, Angus Beef with Mushrooms, and Swordfish with Artichoke Tagliande. A daily selection of handmade pastas and pizzas with toppings like Fior di Latte Mozzarella and Tuscan fennel sausage will also be available.
The drinks menu offers classic cocktails with innovative variations, using ingredients like Sicilian mandarins and Piedmont hazelnuts and La Vista has teamed up with family-owned winery Tosti1820, a business with a 200-year legacy, to provide a selection of wines for diners.
