The voting deadline for Scotland’s top hospitality awards, the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, is fast approaching! However, there are still a few days left to give a shout out to your favourite venues and hospitality heroes. You need to make sure they are in it to win it!
There have even been some last-minute categories added including, for the first time ever, ‘Favela Latin American Venue of the Year’! This category will celebrate a bar, restaurant or venue that embodies that spirit of South America all the way from Brazil or Mexico to bonnie Scotland!
So, whether you want to celebrate a bar, pub, restaurant, late night venue or even a top bartender, it’s time to make sure the best hospitality venues and stars of the licensed trade in your local area make their mark on a national stage.
The awards always showcase an amazing standard of entrants and this years categories such as De Kuyper Mixologist of the Year, Staropramen Award for Outstanding Quality, Sims Automatic Sports Bar of the Year and Schweppes Bartender of the Year prove there really is something for everyone!
Event organiser, Susan Young said, “We have had some great entries to date but there is still time to nominate your favourite bars or bartenders and we know that Scotland has some of the finest. So please take the time to give them a pat on the back.
“When it comes to judging we always use mystery shoppers too, so if you would like to get involved why not get in touch.”
This is the 29th year for Scotland’s longest running licensed trade awards and judges will be travelling the length and breadth of Scotland on mystery visits.
Voting is easy, just go to www.scottishbarandpubawards.com/awards/ and you can vote in as many different categories as you like. Voting closes on the 16th of June, finalists will be announced shortly after, and the winners will be crowned at the glittering award ceremony in Glasgow on the 27th of August!
