The Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour is back for the festive season along with its TV campaign and POS for the trade.

Echoing the wider Coca-Cola Christmas campaign message, “The World Needs More Santas”, the tour will encourage visitors to embrace their inner Santa and share an act of kindness with others during the festive season, and at the same time, Coca-Cola is aiming to donate the equivalent of up to a total of 1 million meals via FareShare –  for every person that attends the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour, the equivalent of a meal will be donated on their behalf.

Kirsty Ford, Head of Fundraising at FareShare said, “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. These invaluable donations help us get good-to-eat food to the people who need it rather than going to waste. Every day, the food we redistribute to a network of over 8,000 charities in every region helps to strengthen communities. Coca-Cola’s generous support for FareShare is instrumental in helping people affected by the cost-of-living crisis. This support means charities can unite more people through food to form connections and access essential support services. Thank you for helping FareShare make the food go further.”

The Christmas campaign will once again bring the iconic Coca-Cola Christmas Truck to TV screens in November, along with a fresh twist. For the first time, Coca-Cola will unveil an AI-generated version of the classic advert, combining human creativity with advanced technology and introducing  a new interactive digital AI experience which invites people to have magical conversations with Santa or a snow globe avatar. By scanning the QR code on a Christmas bottle or can, users can create a personalised, shareable snow globe animation based on a treasured memory, adding an extra touch of festive cheer.

To help bring the festive spirit to licensed venues and capitalise on this uplift in demand, operators can request Coca-Cola Christmas Truck POS kits now through their CCEP representative. Kits will also be available to order on My.CCEP.com from next week (11th November) and they include a Coca-Cola Christmas truck with LED lights, coasters and decorative table talkers.

Operators also have a chance to win one of three £250 shopping vouchers once they’ve set up their Christmas POS kit in-venue, by taking a well-lit photo and sending it to myccepcustomerservice@ccep.com, between 11th November and 31st December.

Pat Humphries, On-Premise Associate Director at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said, “Despite facing financial pressures, 73% of consumers visited a licensed venue during the festive period in 2023. We expect Christmas celebrations to bring an uplift in pub visits in 2024, as people prioritise socialising and catching up with their family and friends.

“Coca-Cola is synonymous with Christmas thanks to the iconic campaigns that consumers look forward to every year. Our Christmas Truck POS kits and competition will reward operators, while helping them create experiences in outlets that consumers want to go and enjoy.

“Coca-Cola helps bring ‘Real Magic’ to out-of-home social occasions, which is key to helping operators make the most of the Christmas opportunity.”
