Scotland’s leading trade event for food, drink, hospitality, retail, and tourism, ScotHot, is set to return to Glasgow’s SEC from 26–27 February 2025. Building on the success of the 2023 show, which attracted over 7,500 industry delegates, this year’s programme promises even more opportunities for networking, learning, and engagement, featuring over 250 exhibitors and a series of events designed to spotlight the latest industry trends.
A new feature for 2025 is a focus on technological advancements in the hospitality sector, with the Spotlight Stage offering panel discussions led by industry experts and supported by the STA. These sessions will cover innovations driving the future of hospitality, aiming to equip attendees with insights into emerging trends and technologies.
Also debuting this year is the Buell Hospitality Advisory Hub, where visitors can access free expert advice from specialists across various fields, including architecture, finance, and technology.
Additional highlights include the Scottish Culinary Championships, featuring competitions such as Scottish Chef of the Year, Culinary Arts, the Skills Arena, and Live Theatre. The event will also host the Liquid Academy Live sessions, ScotHot’s Innovation Awards, and the Great Taste Market, showcasing high-quality food and drink from across Scotland.
Toby Wand, Managing Director of 365 Events, the team behind ScotHot25, said, “ScotHot is the most anticipated event on the hospitality calendar, and there’s no other industry gathering in Scotland that brings together such a diverse range of companies, products and buyers under one roof. We are back, bigger and better than ever, and we are lining up another excellent, jam-packed schedule for ScotHot25.”
Marc Crothall MBE, Chief Executive of the Scottish Tourism Alliance, said, ‘’The Scottish Tourism Alliance have become a major supporter of the ScotHot event over the last decade and our members are very much looking forward to its return to Glasgow in February 2025. We will be hosting The Spotlight Stage once again on the show floor with some insightful speakers addressing the big issues within the hospitality and tourism industry.”
ScotHot25 is supported by partners including Scotland Food & Drink, Scottish Tourism Alliance, Scottish Licensed Trade Association, VisitScotland, Scottish Chefs, HIT Scotland, and The Guild of Fine Food. Key exhibitors such as Instock, Brakes Scotland, AG Barr, Panasonic, Smeg, and Unox are also taking part.
