Glasgow’s second All Bar One is set to open at Glasgow Central Station following approval to sell alcohol from the licensing board.
Hospitality company Mitchells & Butlers, which owns the brand, aims to revitalise a vacant unit above M&S Simply Food with plans to convert the former Central Bar, closed since 2016. The plans for the conversion of the unit are now with Council planners with hopes that work can begin in April for an opening in August 2025.
The station’s refurbishment includes several closed units, and this addition aims to enhance the experience for station users. Mitchells & Butlers is leasing the unit from Network Rail, with minor interior updates and new lighting at the entrance planned.
