Simon Hunt has been appointed as Executive Director of the Board of Director, and Chief Executive Officer of Davide Campari-Milano N.V, owners of Campari, at their Extraordinary General Meeting this week. It follows the announcement of his nomination to the role in December.
Hunt was the former Chief Executive of William Grant & Sons and began his career at Diageo. More recently he was CEO of global spirits incubator Catalyst Spirit.
He said at the time of his nomination, “During my more than three decades of experience within the spirits industry, I have always held Campari Group in the highest regard for its unique history, strong portfolio of iconic brands, company culture, and continuous outperformance and stellar growth story.”
