Manorview have announced they are sharing £124,891 of profit with team members across the business.

The independent group, who own and operate 12 venues, shared the news with their team on Sunday at an all-expenses-paid team celebration at SWG3 with an event hosted by Britain’s Got Talent star Edward Reid. On the night everyone heard about how previous profit shares have helped people, what the focus of the business is for the year ahead, as well as what’s coming up for Manorview’s registered charity, Manorview Foundation.

Manorview’s ‘Heartcount’ scheme sees them annually share 10% of net profits with their team and everyone who has been with the business for 12 months or more qualifies – and this year 476 of their team (around 85% of the team) will receive a profit share payment.

The profit share is based on hours worked rather than on job title or pay and it means that regardless of whether someone is a Director, Housekeeper, Manager, Chef or Kitchen Porter, they get the same amount for the same hours.

Dani Fraser, Head of People at Manorview said, “We are very proud of our Heartcount profit share scheme. Everyone, regardless of role, makes a positive contribution to Manorview and it’s only right that they then receive something in return.”

Dani continued,“Fairness is the heart of so many of our decisions, and the fact is it’s not just senior or sales team who make things happen here, this is why we structure Heartcount in the way we do.”

Brand Director Kirstin Watson said, “It was fantastic to get the team together to show our thanks and appreciation. The energy in the room was just brilliant – there were glow sticks and foam fingers in the air!

“We’re on a journey to make life better through hospitality, and this event alongside our profit share is just one way we aim to positively support our team. It’s very uncommon for businesses (especially in the hospitality sector) to share profits with their team – but we’re determined to not only look after people but show that hospitality can be a fantastic and rewarding career in many ways.”

Manorview’s 12 venues throughout Central Scotland include Boclair House in Bearsden, Brisbane House in Largs, and The Redhurst in Giffnock.
