Irish pub, Johnnie Foxes has been put up for sale by owner Don Lawson who opened the venue nearly 30 years ago.

Located on Bank Street overlooking the River Ness, the bar and restaurant has been a mainstay of the city’s hospitality scene since it opened in 1997.

Also included in the sale is The Den, the adjoining late-night venue added in 2009 – and Inverness’s only nightclub. Together, the two businesses are being marketed as a rare opportunity to acquire a fully operational city-centre hospitality package with a capacity of around 520 patrons.

Simon Watson, Business Agent at Christie & Co, is managing the sale and said, “Being a frequent visitor to Inverness over the past 25 years, I have always enjoyed a night in Foxes! I am very excited to work on behalf of Don Lawson and his team to market Johnny Foxes and The Den, without doubt one of the most iconic and exciting opportunities on the Scottish hospitality scene.  We are confident that there will be no shortage of interest.”
