Glasgow-based WEST Brewery has appointed Graham Baird as its new senior sales lead, bringing more than 35 years of industry experience to the independent brewer.
Baird, formerly Director of Sales at Belhaven, spent over two decades at the brewery where he was instrumental in developing the company’s wholesale sales strategy. In his new role at WEST, Baird will focus on expanding distribution channels, growing partnerships, and increasing the brewery’s presence across Scotland.
Matt Munro, Managing Director of WEST Brewery, said: “Having known Graham for a number of years, I’m thrilled to welcome him to the team. There aren’t many people who know the Scottish beer scene better than Graham, and that knowledge will be invaluable for WEST.”
Speaking about his new role, Baird said, “After a bit of time off, the opportunity to join WEST felt like the perfect challenge. I’ve always admired the brewery’s commitment to brewing authentic, quality beers right here in Glasgow. To be part of that story now is hugely exciting, and I can’t wait to help get WEST into more pubs, bars, and fridges across Scotland.”
