Gangster film-inspired dining experience opens in Finnieston

Rocco's

A new Italian‑American restaurant named Rocco’s will open in Finnieston next week (28 November), offering a dining experience inspired by classic gangster films such as Goodfellas, Casino and The Godfather.

The Finnieston venue – or as Rocco’s calls it, “the upper west side” – has been fitted out to create a late‑night dining environment with an old-school American-Italian way of dining. With red‑leather curved booths and dim lighting, the menu is based on traditional New York City comfort foods such as spaghetti, chicken parmigiana, and tableside tiramisu as well as their take on classic cocktails, which they say is the “perfect combination of classy yet comfortable” and where people can “eat like family”.

According to Rocco’s demand for reservations during its opening week is already high, with social‑media interest building after Maya Jama commented on their teaser video on socials.
