Leiper’s Attic, the upstairs bar and restaurant at Cottiers in Glasgow’s West End, opened its doors to the public again this week for the first time in seven years.
The bar sits within the former Dowanhill Parish Church and will trade Thursday to Saturday from 5pm, with Sunday service from 12 noon. A Scottish-led menu will include dishes such as Perthshire rump of lamb and fillet of Shetland cod.
The reopening was marked with a pre-launch event attended by guests including STV Radio’s Cat Harvey, BBC sports presenter Jane Lewis and Falkirk FC striker Brian Graham.

David Robertson, director at Cottiers, said: “Leiper’s Attic is a truly unique venue for Glasgow, with an exciting and fresh new offering for the westend. It was a joy to see the place back to life and buzzing at our launch night and we’re now immensely proud to be able to reopen Leiper’s Attic for everyone to enjoy. A warm welcome is guaranteed every weekend from Thursday through to Sunday.”
