JD Wetherspoon has set an opening date of 21 July for its new Chambers Street pub in Edinburgh, which DRAM reported on in January when the venue received licensing approval.
The 485-capacity pub, expected to trade as the William Chambers, will occupy the former Revolution Bar at 30a Chambers Street. The venue will open from 7am daily, with alcohol served from 9am to 1am Monday to Saturday and 11am to 1am on Sunday.
The pub will become Wetherspoon’s eighth in the capital. The chain is also progressing plans for a second new Edinburgh outlet at Fountain Park, taking over the unit previously occupied by McCowan’s Brewhouse.
