Award-winning bar manager and Whisky Ambassador, David Sinclair, has been appointed to the role of Brand Ambassador for Haig Club single grain Scotch whisky in Great Britain.
David has spent more than 15 years working in some of the world’s most iconic luxury hotels. His experience spans from seven years managing the hotel bar at Gleneagles in Scotland to working at The Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong. In 2011 he was also crowned winner of the Malt Mastermind, a competition to find the UK’s leading whisky expert in the on-trade.
As well as his bar management achievements, David’s previous role as the Whisky Ambassador for Diageo Reserve has been a great platform to learn more about the category. In his new role, David will be responsible for passing this insight on to key bartenders and off-trade customers across the UK and to educate them about Haig Club.
