AA Rosette success for Scottish restaurants

Martin Wishart at Loch Lomond is among several top Scottish restaurants to be recognised in the latest round of AA Rosette awards.

The Michelin-starred chef’s Loch Lomond restaurant (pictured above) has been awarded four AA Rosettes, and is one of only three establishments across the UK to do so.

The Crossbasket Castle in Blantyre and Inver Restaurant at Strachur have been awarded three AA Rosettes.

According to the AA, restaurants awarded four AA Rosettes “are among the top restaurants in the country”, while those scoring three AA Rosettes “are all outstanding restaurants that achieve standards that demand national recognition well beyond their local area.”

The AA has been awarding the coveted Rosettes to restaurants since 1956. The multi-rosettes are awarded bi-annually in January and September.
