Glasgow’s Cathouse Rock Club aims to raise over £30,000 for charity in the next 12 months to celebrate 30 years in business this year. The first month’s fundraiser is dedicated to Epilepsy Scotland and for each monthly charity, the Union Street club will run a 50/50 Raffle: 50% of the money raised will become a prize for one winner, with the remainder going to charity. The first raffle will take place on the 1st February at Cathouse Saturday for Epilepsy Scotland.
Guestlist users will be asked to donate £1 to charity every Cathouse Friday with sister club The Garage following suit, asking for a donation every #Tag Tuesday. Head office staff at Hold Fast Entertainment are also taking part in Epilepsy Scotland’s Firewalk Challenge on Burns Day, Saturday 25th January.
On Sunday 26th January, Australia Day, tribute acts MacTallica, Fue Fighters and Mac Muse are joining forces to raise much needed funds for the Australian Red CrossDisaster Relief and Recovery. Later that evening, Cathouse Rock Club and The Garage will be hosting their own Bushfire Fundraisers during club hours. All proceeds will go to help support those affected by the nation’s bushfires.
