Days Brewing, the leading 0.0% beer brand in the UK, has introduced a 568ml Pint bottle of its Pale Ale, marking, they say, a world-first in the alcohol-free beer category. The launch aims to make alcohol-free beer available in every bar and pub across the UK “without the challenges of contamination, wastage, or spoilage.”

Mike Gammell, Co Founder of Days Brewing says, “Our ambition is to see pints of alcohol free beer flowing in every pub and bar across the UK. The category is booming but spoilage rates of current alcohol free draught options can be up to 5x higher than alcoholic counterparts so we’ve developed a first of its kind 568ml pint bottle of our 0.0% Days Pale Ale. The Days pint bottle and bespoke glassware will allow our hospitality partners to offer consumers a perfect pint of alcohol free beer every time”.

The introduction of the Days pint bottle comes as the brand joins the British Beer and Pub Association, coinciding with a 23% year-on-year increase in sales of alcohol-free beer in the On Trade sector. Days Brewing is now available in over 1,000 bars and restaurants, with a year-on-year growth of over 210% in the on-trade.

Their commitment to quality and local sourcing is mirrored in their brewing process, using water from the Lammermuir hills and premium malt barley grown near their brewery outside of Edinburgh. Founded during Lockdown 2.0, a key aspect of their business is the Days Duty initiative, where 2% of sales are donated to mental health initiatives. Along with their B-Corp certification, they say that this ensures that every beer sold contributes positively to both people and the planet.
