Events company, Camm & Hooper, will officially launch Platform Glasgow next month to event industry professionals following acquiring the events venue and bar at the end of last year.
The official launch of Platform comes just two months after the success of its latest London-based venue, 26 Leake Street. Having grown by triple digits in 2023 alone, the company is focused on acquiring additional venues in Scotland, Manchester, and Leeds throughout 2024.
The company says that the experiential event showcase next week, titled ‘People Make Platform’, aims to “encapsulate the essence of Glasgow’s vibrant community and celebrate local suppliers and friends of Platform.” It will feature urban art installations by artist Ross Muir and up-and-coming Glasgow-based sculptor, Council Baby.
There will also be live music performances throughout the evening. Including “We Should Hang Out More”, indie disco DJs “Pretty Ugly Club”, and local band “The Lines” as well as drag-themed fashion, specially brewed beers from craft specialist, Brewhub, and an interactive games hall.
The event takes place on April 18.
