Edinburgh-based drinks company, Talonmore, the non alcoholic spirit maker, has won the Scottish Edge Competition,  the funding competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s high growth potential entrepreneurial talent. It is the only company this year to win the RBS Scale Edge award – which comes with RBS support, direct entry to their Entrepreneur Accelerator and access to Business Hubs across the UK

As well as celebrating this success, the company has also announced wholesale deals with Inverarity Morton along with securing listings across the Montpelier Group – including Tigerlily, Indigo Yard and Rabble.

Lewis Kennedy, Managing Director at Talonmore Drinks Company, said, “To be recognised by Scottish Edge is an absolute milestone for Talonmore. We had many goals and dreams when we started our brand, and winning pitches like this is very high on that list.

“There are some really exciting and innovative businesses across Scotland right now. We’re just so happy to be recognised as one of them at this stage in our journey. We’re bursting with ideas at Talonmore and we have a lot in the pipeline to shout about. This funding will help make that possible. We are so excited to show the world what is next for Talonmore.”

Launched in 2020, the spirit is 0% ABV, and uses a mix of rooted and plant-based ingredients. Brewed with Scottish water and fired by the spice of ginger and Assam tea, it contains key superfoods including prickly pear and hawthorn berry.
