Gin Bothy has announced a strategic partnership following a significant investment from Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC and Neace Ventures, which introduces a seasoned Board of Directors, and marks a significant step in expanding Gin Bothy’s spirit portfolio and advancing its plans for both domestic and international growth.

Founded by Kim Cameron, Gin Bothy has built a reputation for using seasonal, local fruit, producing over 70,000 units annually for global markets. The company, now trading under Bothy Trading, has broadened its brand offerings over the past decade from their home in Angus, with products like Jam Bothy, Bothy Butter, Hipflask Spirits, Rum Bothy, and the flagship Gin Bothy. They also operate The Bothy Experience, a visitor centre located in Glamis.

Kim Cameron said, “This is the right move at the right time for the brand and will help us to grow both within spirit specific sectors and our international markets.  Investment from and involvement of Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC and Neace Ventures, as well as the creation of our board, is fundamental to the growth of all the Bothy brands and the launch of a new spirit later this month.

“We have an amazing opportunity to create something very special we’re incredibly excited and passionate about this deal that will allow us to really drive expansion forward.”

Dark Blue Property Holdings LLC, known for owning Dundee Football Club and various ventures in Dundee, including 71 Brewing and a 29-acre development near Camperdown Park, brings valuable industry experience to Gin Bothy.

Neace Ventures, based in Louisville, Kentucky, specialises in the drinks and hospitality sectors in the US, a key market for Gin Bothy’s future growth.
