Fortitude Spirits Group has revealed a fresh, premium bottle design for its award-winning Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum range. The rebrand comes as Hawksbill secures a significant listing across 130 Booker depots, making the premium spiced rum more accessible to a wider audience.
Launched in 2021, Hawksbill Caribbean Spiced Rum, known for its commitment to sustainability, the brand donates 10% of its profits to sea turtle conservation projects in Barbados and the sea turtles are prominently featured in the new design, reflecting its mission to protect marine life.
Sustainability is also at the heart of the redesign. The bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled glass, while the labels are produced from recycled sugarcane fibre. Plant-based inks and seals, along with corks made from waste materials, further reduce the brand’s environmental footprint.
The new bottles aim to highlight the quality of Hawksbill’s four expressions: Island Spices, Pineapple Core, Mango Peel, and the latest addition to the range, Banana Skin Caribbean Spiced Rum. Each is made using surplus fruit that would otherwise go to waste, reinforcing the brand’s eco-conscious ethos.
